Board member opportunities

Wheatley Group is Scotland’s leading housing, care and property-management group and one of the UK’s best-accredited organisations.

Through our subsidiary partners we own or manage over 81,000 homes and delivers award-winning services to over 200,000 people across Scotland.  We are looking to recruit Non-Executive Directors across our Group partners.

We’re looking for individuals with skills and senior experience in one or more of the following areas to join the Loretto Care Board:

  • General commercial business, financial & management skills
  • Accountancy and audit, knowledge of relevant statutory requirements
  • Social Policy
  • Health and Social Care
  • Care and support services.

The Board meets 6 times per annum at its office at Lipton House, 170 Crown Street, Glasgow.   Meetings are normally on Monday evenings.  In addition to Board meetings, attendance is required at 3 half day Group wide governance events per annum and an annual Board strategy workshop.

The role is non-remunerated but all reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
